• Can I control the pool and spa once I’m at Gaspar’s Luxury Estate?
  Yes. The pool and spa at Gaspar’s Luxury Estate are connected to our home automation system and can be accessed through one of the two in-home iPads, located in the kitchen and detached game room.
• Does Gaspar’s Luxury Estate have a hot tub?
  Yes. Captain’s Courtyard includes a heated spa connected to the private pool. It is one of the most relaxing features of Gaspar’s Luxury Estate and is perfect for evenings after a day in Downtown Tampa, Hyde Park, Bayshore, Ybor City, or nearby golf courses.
• Is the pool at Gaspar’s Luxury Estate private?
  Yes. Captain’s Courtyard is a private resort-style outdoor space. The property is lined with lush greenery that creates a natural privacy shield around the pool courtyard, making it ideal for luxury group stays, family vacations, wedding weekends, bachelor trips, and private events in South Tampa.
• Does the pool at Gaspar’s Luxury Estate have a pool bath or outdoor shower access?
  Yes. Gaspar’s Luxury Estate includes a dedicated pool bath with a full shower and spa-style amenities. Guests can rinse off or freshen up easily without walking through the main house.
• Are pool towels provided?
  Yes. We provide 15 dedicated pool towels by default in the pool bath for easy access. For larger groups staying at Gaspar’s Luxury Estate, we can stock additional towels if needed. Just let us know in advance if you would like more than what is already provided.
• Can music be played outside at Captain’s Courtyard?
  Yes. Guests may play music through the outdoor Sonos speaker system at Gaspar’s Luxury Estate. The system includes built-in volume limiters to help prevent community disturbances while still allowing you to enjoy the courtyard atmosphere. Portable speakers or external amplification beyond the home’s built-in system are not permitted on the pool deck.
• What are the pool hours at Gaspar’s Luxury Estate?
  Guests are welcome to enjoy the pool and spa as late as they like, as long as Tampa’s noise guidelines are respected. We recommend keeping outdoor voices low after 10 PM and turning outdoor music off by 9 PM out of consideration for nearby neighbors, including families with young children and early work schedules.
• Can I customize the outdoor lighting?
  Yes. Captain’s Courtyard includes customizable LIFX lighting that can be adjusted through the home automation system on the two in-home iPads, located in the kitchen and detached game room. This makes the courtyard especially beautiful for evening swims, private dinners, wedding weekend gatherings, bachelor weekends, and luxury event stays.

  The outdoor grill is natural gas, so guests do not need to bring or replace propane tanks.

  No. Gaspar’s Luxury Estate provides an abundance of premium seasoned oak for the fireplace and wood-burning pizza oven.
• Is there a place to store drinks outside?
  Yes. Gaspar’s Luxury Estate has four mini fridges onsite, including one in the outdoor kitchen area. It is the perfect spot to keep drinks cold and easily accessible while enjoying the private pool, spa, putting green, and outdoor lounge areas.
• Does Gaspar’s Luxury Estate have outdoor games or amenities?
  Yes. Captain’s Courtyard includes a private putting green, fireplace lounge, poolside seating, heated pool and spa, outdoor kitchen, and easy access to the detached game room. The putting green is perfect for family mini golf, bachelor party golf weekends, friendly competitions, or serious golfers wanting to practice their short game before visiting one of Tampa Bay’s nearby golf courses. The detached game room includes ping-pong, shuffleboard, foosball, and skee-ball for quick games between swims.
• Is Gaspar’s Luxury Estate good for bachelor parties?
  Yes. Gaspar’s Luxury Estate is a luxury South Tampa vacation rental designed for elevated group stays, including bachelor weekends and milestone celebrations. For approved events, our onsite team can help with furniture placement and vendor coordination so the space is ready for your celebration.
• Can we host a small wedding event or private gathering in Captain’s Courtyard?
  Gaspar’s Luxury Estate can support approved private events and gatherings with advance coordination. Captain’s Courtyard is especially beautiful for intimate outdoor dinners, welcome parties, wedding weekend gatherings, family celebrations, corporate retreats, and luxury group experiences. Event use must be approved in advance, and vendor verification may be required.
• Is there a putting green at Gaspar’s Luxury Estate?
  Yes. Captain’s Courtyard includes a private putting green. It is great for family mini golf, casual competition, bachelor party golf weekends, corporate retreat activities, or golfers who want to practice their short game during their stay.
• Can caterers or private chefs use the outdoor area?
  Yes, absolutely. Gaspar’s Luxury Estate has hosted paella, hibachi, private chefs, and other amazing outdoor catering experiences. We simply require a quick vendor verification before the event. Once you have identified your vendor, let us know. We will set up a time to connect and make sure they are familiar with the property, setup expectations, and vendor etiquette so they can properly support your event.
• Can outdoor furniture be moved for an event?
  Yes. For approved gatherings and events at Gaspar’s Luxury Estate, our onsite staff can assist with furniture placement before or during the event. Please let us know in advance what you have planned. Furniture may be relocated on the property, but it may not be removed from the property.
• What does Gaspar's Luxury Estate do to control mosquitos in the outside areas?
  Gaspar’s Luxury Estate has a professionally installed and maintained mosquito misting system that surrounds the property. It mists on a schedule designed to match mosquito activity and is derived from botanicals. We also provide a remote for guests to use if the property needs a little extra help during peak summer humidity.
• When is Tampa’s rainy season?
  Tampa’s rainy season typically runs from late May through early October. The good news is that summer storms rarely last all day, so you shouldn't lose much time in the pool. Most often, they pop up in the afternoon as sea breezes collide, bring a quick burst of heavy rain, and then clear by the evening. July through September tends to be slightly wetter overall, but many guests still enjoy the pool, spa, outdoor kitchen, game room, and covered lounge areas throughout the summer.
• Should I be concerned about lightning during Tampa thunderstorms?
  Tampa’s summer storms can be beautiful to watch, especially the famous distant “heat lightning” that lights up the evening sky like nature’s fireworks. That said, lightning can travel 10 to 12 miles from a storm cloud, so we ask guests to practice safe viewing. Please leave the pool, spa, putting green, balcony, catwalk, outdoor kitchen, and open patio areas whenever lightning or thunder is nearby. Avoid standing near water, metal railings, fences, tall trees, umbrellas, the grill, or other outdoor structures during a storm. A good rule to follow is the 30-30 Rule: if you see lightning and hear thunder less than 30 seconds later, the storm is close enough to be dangerous. Stay indoors for at least 30 minutes after the final rumble of thunder. Guests may also want to use an app like My Lightning Tracker, available on iOS and Android, for real-time lightning alerts and proximity notifications.
• Are pets allowed outside at Gaspar’s Luxury Estate?
  Pets are not permitted on the property, indoors or outdoors. We are very conscious of our allergy-sensitive guests and work hard to keep Gaspar’s Luxury Estate clean and comfortable for everyone.
• Can I jump into the pool from the catwalk, balcony, stairs, or railing?
  Absolutely not. We love our guests and want everyone to live a long, healthy, vacation-filled life. As exciting as it may seem, jumping from the catwalk, balcony, stairs, railing, or any elevated surface into the pool is strictly not permitted.
• Are pool floats provided, or do I need to bring my own?
  Yes. Gaspar’s Luxury Estate provides four large inflatable pool rafts, perfect for adults floating in the pool or multiple kids sharing together. An electric pump is available in the detached game room, and we make sure the floats are inflated before each guest stay.
• How frequently is the pool cleaned, and what days of the week does the pool service come?
  Gaspar’s Luxury Estate has professional pool service twice a week, typically on Tuesdays and Saturdays between 10 AM and 2 PM. We also do a quick pool check and cleanup as part of our pre-arrival quality assurance before each guest checks in. Because Captain’s Courtyard is a lush outdoor space in Tampa, it is possible to see leaves or pollen in the pool shortly after a cleaning, especially on windy days or during high pollen season. If anything is particularly bothersome, just let us know and we can schedule an ad hoc skimming when available. There is also a pool net available on the side of the house for a quick skim between cleanings if needed. Please note that pool service schedules may occasionally shift due to Tampa’s midday storms or severe weather.
